Chinese painting can also done on silk, pottery, porcelain and wood. Of course the most important and commonly used medium for Chinese painting is Xuan paper. Xuan paper is the traditional and idea medium to do Chinese brush paintings.

Wu line is a renowned painter at the glorious age of Tang poetry time . The Chinese had called him as "the painting saint". He is deeply appreciated by emperor Xuanzong. He created lots of murals. Began studies to Zhang Xu, He Zhizhang, afterwards specialization drawing, his technique is skillful.
